The Renault Alpine A110 is a French sports car produced from 1961-1977 which featured a rear engine, rear wheel drive layout. These cars were known for being light and nimble, thanks to their fiberglass construction. They weighed as little as 1200 pounds (for the early cars) and up to 1700 pounds for the later iterations. Over the course of production, Renault fitted these cars with 12 different engine! Power ranged from as little 55 horsepower, to as much as 140 for cars fitted with the R17 TS Cleon-Alu motors (an inline four cylinder motor, with an aluminum block and cylinder head).

We did some digging, and came up with a post from TheSamba about this body. It seems that it has been sitting for a very long time (as the post was from 2010) and looks as though nobody has bothered to buy it or do anything with it. One of the comments mentions that it is most likely a Dinalpin body, which was a Mexican version of the A110 licensed out by Renault. That makes more sense given that value and rarity of the Alpine A110’s. A cool piece nonetheless!
