This 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is an AMG Le Mans Red Metallic-finished example that was initially sold by Sangera Automotive Group of Bakersfield, California, and remained registered in the state through 2023.
Powered by a 6.2-liter V8 linked with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential, the car shows 3,100 miles and was optioned with black Exclusive leather upholstery, 19″ and 20″ 10-spoke alloy wheels, gullwing doors, a speed-activated aerofoil, bi-xenon headlights, front and rear parking sensors, heated power-adjustable seats, COMAND infotainment, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and dual-zone automatic climate control. This SLS AMG is now offered in Connecticut with a clean Carfax report and a clean California title.
The car is finished in AMG Le Mans Red Metallic and has gullwing doors with pop-out handles as well as bi-xenon headlamps, front and rear parking sensors, a speed-activated aerofoil, straked front fender vents, power-folding mirrors, and polished exhaust outlets.
The 19″ and 20″ 10-spoke alloy wheels wear staggered-width Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires that were mounted in April 2023. The car is equipped with speed-sensitive power steering, and stopping power is provided by AMG-branded brake calipers over cross-drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners. A brake fluid flush was performed in April 2023.
The heated power-adjustable AMG sport seats are trimmed in black Exclusive leather with AMG logos on the backrests and color-contrasting stitching that extends to the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Carbon-fiber trim accents the cabin, and additional appointments include AMG-branded floor mats, a rearview camera, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and COMAND infotainment with navigation.
The AMG Performance steering wheel features aluminum shift paddles and frames a 240-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,200-rpm redline as well as shift indicator lights and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 3,100 miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership. A replacement instrument cluster was installed in preparation for the sale, per the seller.
The hand-assembled 6.2-liter M159 DOHC V8 was factory rated at 563 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in April 2023, at which time the car passed a California emissions inspection.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
