2003 BMW Z8 Alpina

Referred to by BMW as the Alpina Roadster, this rare Z8 variant was available in small numbers and only for one-year.

Immediately recognizable to enthusiasts, the driving experience is more thrilling with extra torque provided by the Alpina tuned 4.8 litre V8. An engine that is noticeably throatier than the standard Z8.

A rather exclusive car even in the rarified world of Z8’s.

Often referred to as the Best Looking Sports Car of the early 2000’s the Alpina roadster utilizes the 4.8 litre Alpina tuned M62 V8 engine mated to BMW’s 5 speed steptronic transmission. Peak torque was raised to 383 lb/ft and is available at lower revs. The engine produces 375 hp which is transmitted to the road thru Alpina’s own 20 inch wheels. The gauges, the steering wheel and the wheels are all Alpina items.

The car we have on offer is car number 493 of the 555 produced. It has been extensively serviced by the local BMW dealership. The act of taking the Z8 Alpina to a BMW dealership is akin to arriving with a celebrity. Heads turn and the car draws other BMW owners to it as few have seen one in the flesh.

This car is in excellent condition with a little over 20,000 original miles and a clean carfax. It carries its original paint. Comes with the factory hardtop. It looks quite stunning in black livery with red and black interior. The car is ready for the next owner to drive and enjoy.
