1956 Austin-Healey 100M – Factory-Built Example – Fully Restored

Overview

The Austin-Healey 100M represents the high-performance evolution of the iconic 100/4. Built on the desirable BN2 chassis, it features the upgraded 4-speed gearbox and improved braking system, delivering a more engaging and capable driving experience. The factory 100M specification increased output to 110 hp, providing a notable 20 hp boost over the standard model.

This car is one of just 640 factory-built 100Ms, making it a rare and highly collectible example. It left the Healey factory on 18 April 1956 in its original and striking two-tone Red over Black colour scheme with a Black interior.

History & Restoration

In the 1990s, this 100M underwent a comprehensive rotisserie restoration, completed to a high standard. Importantly, the car retains all of its original components, preserving its authenticity and value. It has been carefully maintained and has had only two owners over the last 35 years.
