The BMW 2000CS was a part of the Neue Klasse (New Class) line of BMW’s. BMW produced both coupes and sedans, and were able to pull themselves out of a financial crisis with this new lineup of automobiles. This 1967 2000CS is finished in what we think is Agave green. There were only 2584 1967 2000CS’s produced making it quite rare. The CS models came with a 2.0 Liter four cylinder motor with twin carburetors making 120 horsepower, and put power through only the rear wheels.

The owner reports that this car has been well maintained, benefiting from a recent brake and cooling system overhaul. The car also has its original paint, and the body work is untouched. These early cars are unique looking, and set the stage for some of the great BMW’s that came out of the 70’s.
