Poor 356, that’s all we can say. This one has clearly seen some heat, and despite being a “California car” it might not be the one you want to buy. The 356B was the second generation of the 356 lineup. Produced from 1959-1963, the 356B was powered by a 1600cc 90 horsepower four cylinder motor. These cars are not known for being fast, but they’re often described as one of the purest driving experiences you can have. When new these cars sold for around $4000, however nowadays depending on condition, unique options, and history, these cars tend to sell for the low $100,000’s.

We’re not sure there’s much left to do with this car, and we hope whoever saw it go up in flames lives to tell the tale. This sure would make a wonderful garden sculpture!
